I've been meaning to knit this scarf since it was all over blogs here in Norway last fall. And finally I have my own ;) Baktus is one of the creatures that lives in Jens' teeth. And since there is a Baktus scarf there is also a Karius scarf ;) Baktus is in garther st while Karius is knitted in st st.
I love mindless projects like this - perfect for watching tv...
I now I look cross on the photos, but I'm not. It dosn't show, but the sun was up and the light was so sharp I had to peer against the white snow...

Gorgeous. Where do you get your yarns?
ReplyDeleteDet ble nydelig! Fin farge også...
ReplyDeleteTammy: This yarn did I get in a swap and it's from finland ;)
ReplyDeleteBut we have some really good yarn stores here in Norway. And online shops...
ReplyDeleteOh, I like this Baktus scarf. I wanted to knit one, from the first time I saw one. Lovely yarn you used for it.
ReplyDeleteVäldigt härlig scarf, fin färg också. Nu blev jag inspirert.. :)
ReplyDeleteThe baktus scarf is beautiful The simple pattern shows off how pretty the yarn is. And it does look especially pretty next to the snow.
ReplyDeleteHa, Ha, you'll laugh to see me brag about our "snow" on my blog. It stayed for a whole two hours! The hills behind us had snow on them for several weeks though!
What a lovely scarf!
ReplyDeleteDet var en flott Baktus - jeg likte fargene du har brukt :-)
ReplyDeletewhen I first read about the Baktus scarf earlier today i wondered if it was 'Karius and Baktus'. Looks great. May have to knit it myself.
ReplyDeleteHello,
