Frost

mittens in the making

I'm so behind on my fall/winter knitting this year... I haven't made one pair of mittens for the kids yet, and they really need it now. We had the first frost night yesterday and this morning was it -10 C - Brrrr! There's no snow yet, but everything is covered in frost... Even the lake was covered with ice today. So I had to cast on a pair for Erlend today. Hopefully I'll get them done fast so I can cast on for a new pair ;)

  2. The good thing about mittens--they make up really fast! I'm sure you will have several pair made in no time.

It has decided to be winter here in Wyoming also. VERY cold this morning--about the same temperature as yours--with snow and wind. BRRrrrrrr! Got my new sweaters done just in time!

  6. No matter what, I'm with you--I'll never get to everything on my queue. Enjoy your quick fall!

I'm always glad when my little one still asks for my knitted stuff. They get rather cool as they get older, right?
