52 books in 52 weeks update & A giveaway!

Those of you who have been reading my blog for a while know I've been reading some (alot of) books ;)

However there haven't been many in December. Mostly because I've read The Mists of valon, a brick of a book, which I loved!  And I must say I'm pretty impressed with myself for reading 122 books in one year when I was aiming for 52 :)

December
119 - Bloodline - Maggie Shayne
120 - The Alchemy of Murder - Carol McClear

121 - Ragnarok - Tom Egeland
122 - The Mists of Avalon - Mrion Zimmer Bradley

Now for the giveaway. I want you to tell me which book(s) you enjoyed most in 2010 and if there are some book(s) you are looking forward to in 2011. The price will be this necklace and the 1st book in the Hollow series - Dead Witch Walking,  which by the way have been my favourite series last year :)
On the book on the necklace says it : "Hva er livet uten bøker?" = "What's life without books?"
I'll draw a winner on Sunday 9th :)

I have some books I'm looking forward to :)

* The Land of Painted Caves, Earth Children #6 by Jean M. Auel. (March 29th)
- I love this series! And I've been waiting for this book for years. It's one of those books you buy in hardcover edition because you just can't wait for the pocket book to be released ;)

*Dead Reckoning, Southern Vampire Mysteries #11 by Charlaine Harris. (May 11th)

 * Heartless by Gail Carriger. (July)
- I really must get myself together and read Blameless first ;) If you haven't read this series - you must!!

* Lover Unleashed, BBD #9 by J.R. Ward. (March 29th)
- This is my favourite vampire series, no doubt!

*  This Side of the Grave, Night Huntress #5 by Jeaniene Frost. (February 22nd)

* Red Riding Hood by Sarah Blakley-Cartwright. (January 25th)

* The Witch's Daughter by Paula Brackston. (January 18th)

* Graveminder by Melissa Marr. (May 17th)

  3. The books I enjoyed most in 2010 were Three Bags Full by Leonie Swann (because it's so funny, sweet and different) and The Likeness by Tana French (because it kept me breathless to the last minute and had a magical atmosphere).

  7. Oooh! A giveaway! How nice! Lets see, favorite book of 2010? I think would have to be Jane Eyre. I read it twice and was a little upset that nobody had told me how good it was before I stumbled across it. Though I must say you've recommended some books that made my top five list for sure.

  8. Hei!
Litt nifs bok, men veldig bra krim. Hilsen Astri Ese Hole

  9. I'm so impressed with your accomplished reading list! and all the knitting you do too, so lovely!
i am a very slow reader, lately been making my way through the 1st Ladies Detective Agency Series by Alexander McCall Smith. I love the gentle humor in these books, and also the subject, Africa.

  10. The Witches Daughter looks like an interesting book! Love the cover! My favorite books I read last year? It's so hard to pick but I think it would have been The Weight of Silence & The Shop on Blossom Street. Reading the second Blossom Street book right now actually!
