Hello Again

It's been almost two months since I made a blog post. Not sure what happened, but it has felt good to take some time off :) But the last couple of days I have felt the urge to share my knitting with you again! Above you can see some goodies I have received in the mail. The yarn is going to be a Bloomsbury sweater. The project bag is from Eldenwood Craft and I won it in a knit along a while ago hosted by Celtic Cast On.

Spring is very late up here in the arctic this year. We still have a lot of snow on the ground and we actually had snow today and the temperature the last week or so has been around 2 C... I think we just have had a couple of days with temperatures above 10 C so far :( So we are still wearing wool here, including mittens and hats - and June is here in just a few days!! I am SO hoping we will have some warmer weather soon.

In my absent I have finished two sweaters. The first one is a Marius sweater with a round yoke. It's knitted from the bottom up traditionally, but I was not sure if I had enough yarn so I made it top down.  I had more than enough yarn ;)

The other sweater, or kofte as we call this type of cardigans here in Norway, is a Setesdalkofte. I have been living in this one since I finished it. Can you blame me due to the weather..?!

I have (of course) knitted a lot of socks :) You can find them all on my project page on Ravelry :)
It won't be so long before my next post - I have some finished projects and quite a few on the needles to share with you.

  1. welcome back! lovely projects! I bought yarn in Norway when I was there two summers ago for mittens, among other things, but still have not made them. I live on the east coast of the US, and our spring has been chilly and rainy...a few warm days, but not many...I've appreciated it, as we have three more weeks of school and no a/c and our rooms are unbearable in the heat....

  2. Beautiful projects, love them all! ūüėć

  3. you are the best knitter ever! I love the sweaters and the fair isle designs. The project bag is cute and something I would love to use.

  4. Oh I love the socks and here in western New York state in the US, we usually have harsh snowy cold winters and knitting is a good way to pass the time....Michelle
