Radar's Teddy Bear Socks

IMG_20171013_135157_427

Sometimes it's great to use ones brain on something else than vanilla socks. So when a mystery kal with Heidi Nick as the designer popped up in the Sock knitters anonymous group on Ravelry I decided to join. Although the pattern is called Radar's teddy bear, there is nothing resembling Radar (form MASH) or a teddy bear, just lots and lots of pretty cables! And they were so fun to knit up that I really don't know why I don't knit more cabled socks.

The front and the back of the leg have different cables and I have even made a new to me heel - the Fleegle heel. You could add beads here and there among the cables, but I'm not a huge fan of beads in my socks.
