Around the world in books

I have decided to read my way around the world :)

I'll be linking the books to Goodreads.
If you feel like joining me on this little adventure or have suggestions for books, please leave a comment and tell me :)

Some links to others who are doing the same. Great to find books to read.

  4. Great project! Did you hear about the blogger who did the same, in a year? If I could only find the link now. She managed to find authors from each country.
For South Africa...may I suggest...anything by Deon Meyer, or The Power of One (Bryce Courtenay), or Circles in a Forest (Dalene Matthee). Or Cry, the Beloved Country (Alan Paton). Or....too many :-)

  5. Hello! I just discovered this page on your blog! (I am a quilter admiring your socks and the regular knitting!) I remarked that you haven't Switzerland on your list. So, perhaps you might be interested in some of Martin Suter's books, some have been translated. Here is one link : http://www.amazon.com/Small-World-Martin-Suter/dp/0099449129
    Best wishes
