Mosaic Monday: Winter

Det har vært skolefri idag, så vi har vært ute hele gjengen i dag. Etter en hel søndag med øsende regn, var det godt å våkne til et par minusgrader og snø. Ungene har kosa seg på ungers vis :) Det er ikke mange timer med fullt dagslys om dagen nå... Begynner å bli mørkt i to tiden, så det gjelder å utnytte lyset mens det er her.

It's been a day off from school today, so we've been outside playing the hole gang. After a hole sunday with pouring rain, it was great to wake up to minusdegrees and snow. The kids been enjoying in kids way :) There's not many hours with full daylight now... It starts to get dark at 2 pm, so we have to make use of the light while it's here.

Ingen tvil om at høsten er her nå... Løvet faller fra trærne og det begynner å bli kaldt på fingrene å strikke ute ;) Har fått strikka litt ute idag alikavel da, sokker til samboern.

No doubt that the fall is here now... the leaves is falling from the trees and it's getting cold on my fingers when I knit outdoors ;) I've done a little knitting out today though, socks for hubby.

Etter å ha vært innom Kristin Helene og lest at hun hadde hatt gjennomgang av ungenes lue og votte beholdning, måtte jeg gjøre det samme. Var lite votter å oppdrive...så jeg har begynt på votter i kveld. Kjekt å få brukt opp litt rester.

After reading Kristin Helene's blog where she went through her kids hat and mittens stock, i had to do the same. there was few mittens ...so I have casted on for a pair tonight.

Både jeg og Eirin digger Hello Kitty :) Er bare så synd at det er så lite å få kjøpt her i Norge, er vel kun H&M som har litt klær og dilldall med HK... Så her er et lite utvalg av noe vi kunne ha tenkt oss. Hadde vært kult med vaffeljern og toaster med HK ;) Forrige mandag ble jeg spurt om Mosaic Monday var noe jeg hadde funnet på, og nei det er det ikke. Det er en gruppe på Flikr , og her kan dere se flere flotte mosaiker!

Both Eirin and I loves Hello Kitty :) Too bad there is so few items to buy here in Norway. It's just at H&M that they sell some clothes and stuff. So here is a few things we'd love to have. Would have been cool with a HK toaster and waffle iron ;) Last monday someone asked me if this Mosaic Monday was my idea, no it's not.
