Fall Into Reading
Katrina over at Callapider Days is having a reading challenge - Fall Into Reading that starts today and lasts until December 21st.
In the beginng of this year I set a goal to read 100 books. So far I have read 75 books, so I'll try to make my goal by reading the books in this challenge :)
So here is a list of the books I hope to read these months. It's 27 books, I think, so that should be enough to reach 100 books.

FO :: Multnomah
This was a fun and easy shawl to knit! So easy to memorize the pattern so it was perfect tv-knitting ;)
When I casted off I thought it looked a bit small, but blocking really helped and it's the perfect size for wrapping around my neck :)
The colours bled alot when I soaked it... And after about ten "baths" I gave up. I don't think it will bleed any colour when I use it.
Pattern: Multnomah
Yarn: 1 skein (113 grams / 560 yards) of The Sanguine Gryphon Little Traveller
: The Weeping Isle
Size: I made 14 pattern repeats

On the needles and between the pages
Reading: You know me, I can't just read one book at the time... So right now I have three. The Name of the Wind is my fantasty book. I like it a lot, but I want it to last so I only read in it now and then.
The Masquerade is my historicla romance book - have to have one of those too ;) I am about halfway through it and I like it so far. And The Story of Edgar Sawtelle did I pick out of the bookshelf earlier today. I have high hopes for this book so I hope I won't be disappointed...
Knitting: I haven't had a pair of socks on the needles the last weeks, so it was time to cast on a pair today :) The pattern is Swirl Socks. These might be a christmas present, but I really like the colours so they might stay with me ;)
Eirin wanted me to knit her a shawl. So we went stash diving to try to find something not itchy as she can't wear anything itchy around her neck... So we ended up with some Tinty Tots from Sirdar. And the pattern is Larch. My Multnomah is off the needles and ready for blocking later today :)
And finally the stripy sweater. It is growing and I have just a little bit left on the sleeves before I can start the raglan decrease :)

WIP Wednesday
Endre's sweater hasn't grown much since ast week. I have started the first sleeve, but I have been distracted by...
...Multnomah. I ove this colour and the pattern is super easy and fast to knit :)
I have knitted 7 lace repeats and I hope I have enough yarn to make more than the 10 that's in the pattern.

Fall is definitely here
The hihgest mountains had a dusting of snow this morning. The air is getting crisp and my favourite season is finally here! We have pulled out warmer clothes and I have gone through the children's knitwear from last year. Amazing how much mittens can felt during the winter. And with the crisp air and darker days I look forward to knit new mittens, socks, sweaters, scarves and hats in the months ahead.
The sun came out in the afternoon, so we spent some time in the vegetable garden. Looks like we only will have mini leeks this year ;) I'm letting them stay a while longer. Maybe they will grow a bit more.
Our raspberry bushes is filled with berries, but if we don't get any sun and a bit warmth soon, they will not get ripe :(
But we picked 1.5 liters of sugar peas :) The kids have managed to leave them alone in the past week, so there is quite a lot.
I planted garlic earlier this week, so hopefully the will survive winter and start to grow when spring arrives.
