There has been very little knitting around here the last days.... Because of the snow. It's been like WHOOF - and there it was, 1 meter of snow. So we've been shoveling every day. Making a footpath in the garden so we can feed the birds, shoveling the snow off our roofs and ofcourse the kids are thrilled. It's not every day they can sledge in our yard (on the hills of snow we have shoveld...). But I guess we just have to enjoy it as long as we have it, because the weather forcast for the weekend is rain...
We've also been withour electricity the other night, so we had to read our books with head - and flashlights ;)
Jeg er omtrent like begeistret som ungene over all snøen :) Gruer meg til regnet. Og strømbrudd er mest koselig synes jeg. For noen år siden gikk strømmen på nyttårsaften, da kokte vi pinnekjøtt på vedovnen og gassapparat, og spilte spill hele kvelden :)

ReplyDeleteLitt snø har vi også, men nå regner det så det plasker! Strømbrudd synes jeg er koselig så lenge vi har ved :) Ser ut som om ungene har det fint ute...

ReplyDeleteI spoke to my grandmother yesterday and she's journeying back to Lillehammer from Ulvik this morning and wasn't really looking forward to the journey. I wouldn't want to be getting much further North than that at this time of the year, I'm not a snow fan!

ReplyDeleteYes too much snow. We had a year like this and I got to the point that when I saw a flake I would start to cry.
ReplyDeleteWow, that much snow! We almost never have such an amount. But it is very cold at the moment here in The Netherlands.
ReplyDeleteOh My! That is a lot of snow. I am thinking now that Christmas is over all the snow needs to go away but I think we still have a few more months of it (we still had snow in April last year) *sigh* but I am sure winter is much more longer where you are.
