  1. Pretty, I know those as "Christmas cactus" lol. Mine didn't flower last year. Should have put it out in the garden over the Summer but never got round to it. Maybe this year I'll remember!

  2. Beautiful blossoms, glorious color! Yes, these are "Christmas cactus" where I live too, but... they are lovely -- no matter when they bloom!

  3. It's easy to confuse the Easter cactus with the Christmas cactus at first glance; their flowers are similar. But there's one big, obvious difference: Each one blooms around the time of the holiday for which it's named.

    There is slight difference between the two species. An Easter cactus has leaves that are wide and round and trimmed with a red tint. The Christmas cactus' leaves are pointed.
