Yarn Along :: WIP Wednesday

Yarn Along :: WIP Wednesday

Looks pretty much as last weeks photo... But a bit more messy ;) I often admire those pretty photos of books and projects some of you post, but I thought today was the day to just show off how it really looks like at my table. Projects, post it notes and a stack of printed patterns I plan to cast on next.

Reading: I finished Cross Stitch last night. And wow, I loved that book! Definitely a book I will read several times. I have to clear something about the book though. Cross Stitch is the same as Outlander. I think Cross Stitch is the uk version. I'm still reading Sister's Choice and quite enjoying it. Right now I'm listening to The Return by Victoria Hislop.

Knitting: I've managed to knit one owl on the Owlie sock :) Love it so far. Both cuffs on Jules are done and I have started the second leg on the wool pants.

  7. Thank you for taking the picture of the way your work table is most of the time! It looks just like mine, and now I feel like I am in good company! :-)

  8. My table is too messy - the knitting would get lost! But I have to say, one thing is missing from your table... where's the coffee (or tea)? :)

    1. Haha. I have a nother table beside the sofa which is all mine, and I'm sure some of my knitting supplies sometimes gets lost there. I'm not sure I dare to take a picture of that table...
      There was a tea cup there, somewhere...

  10. I love the owlie socks!!! I need to make these. The owl sweater is the project that made me want to learn to knit actually.

  11. This picture shows where the magic happens. Finished pictures are all great and good, but the crafting space is most important ; )

  12. My coffee table is definitely less tidy. Not my stuff. Its everyone else's and I'm sticking to that story! I keep on seeing the owl pattern and I really must get round to making something with it. Love the idea of owl socks.

  13. My table often looks like that ... and the kitchen counter ... and a corner of the sofa LOL! My photos often look tidier because I get better results with natural light so I hike all the projects outside to my front porch. What must the neighbours think of me hunching over half-knitted projects snapping photos in my jammies!?!

  14. I think most people just crop their photos. My house looks like this. I think it just shows we have passions and interests.

  15. I love your "natural environment" photo. I do the same sometimes, but crop the messy out. :) Someday I will be brave enough to let is show. I laugh at Proud Mama's comment as I have been known to creep around outside in the garden in my jammies, photographing knitted projects too. :)

  17. Keep reading the Outlander(Cross stitch) series!! You'll be glad that you did. They are also AMAZING on audio. Davina Porter is a fabulous narrator.

  18. Nice candid picture! That is not a messy table is a knitter's table.
