52 books in 52 weeks update

Another month has passed, and with fall comes more time for reading ;) This month I've been reading a lot of vampire books. I've started the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton and the Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost - both are great!
I've also read the 2nd book  in The Parasol Protectorate series - Changeless by Gail Carriger, I just love the plot and the characters in this series and can't wait to find out how it continues! The 7th book in the BBD series - Lover Avenged by J.R.Ward, really lived up to my expectation! The 2nd book in the Hollows series - The Good, the Bad, and the Undead by Kim Harrison was a fun read. Really looking forward to read more :)
In between all the vampire books, I've read a exciting thriller - Map of Bones by James Rollins. It's the 2nd book in the Sigma series, but I haven't read any of the other.

So what good books have you read lately..??

They're two humans caught in the crossfire-or so Anita thinks..

96 - The Good, the Bad, and the Undead (The Hollows, Book 2) - Kim Harrison

It's a tough life for witch Rachel Morgan, sexy, independent bounty hunter, prowlng the darkest shadows of downtown Cincinnati for criminal creatures of the night.
She can handle the leather-clad vamps and even tangle with a cunning demon or two. But a serial killer who feeds on the experts in the most dangerous kind of black magic is definitely pushing the limits.
Confronting an ancient, implacable evil is more than just child's play—and this time, Rachel will be lucky to escape with her very soul.

97 - Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, Book 1) - Jeaniene Frost
98 - One Foot In The Grave (Night Huntress, Book 2) - Jeaniene Frost
99 - At Grave's End (Night Huntress, Book 3) - Jeaniene Frost
100 - Destined For An Early Grave (Night Huntress, Book 4) - Jeaniene Frost

Since half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her undead lover Bones met six years ago, they've fought against the rogue undead, battled a vengeful Master vampire, and pledged their devotion with a blood bond. Now it's time for a vacation. But their hopes for a perfect Paris holiday are dashed when Cat awakes one night in terror. She's having visions of a vampire named Gregor who's more powerful than Bones and has ties to her past that even Cat herself didn't know about.
Gregor believes Cat is his and he won't stop until he has her. As the battle begins between the vamp who haunts her nightmares and the one who holds her heart, only Cat can break Gregor's hold over her. She'll need all the power she can summon in order to bring down the baddest bloodsucker she's ever faced . . . even if getting that power will result in an early grave.

101 - Innrømmelser (Tre søstre #33) - Bente Pedersen
102 - Changeless - Gail Carriger

Alexia Tarabotti, the Lady Woolsey, awakens in the wee hours of the mid-afternoon to find her husband, who should be decently asleep like any normal werewolf, yelling at the top of his lungs. Then he disappears - leaving her to deal with a regiment of supernatural soldiers encamped on her doorstep, a plethora of exorcised ghosts, and an angry Queen Victoria. But Alexia is armed with her trusty parasol, the latest fashions, and an arsenal of biting civility. Even when her investigations take her to Scotland, the backwater of ugly waistcoats, she is prepared: upending werewolf pack dynamics as only the soulless can. She might even find time to track down her wayward husband, if she feels like it.

103 - Map of Bones - James Rollins

A mysterious biblical object, nefarious Vatican spies and a deadly centuries-old religious cabal—sound familiar? Sacramento veterinarian Rollins offers more Da Vinci Code–style thrills for the seriously addicted. In this seventh outing, hooded men invade midnight mass at the Cologne Cathedral and slaughter almost everyone present, then break open a gold sarcophagus and steal... the bones of the Three Wise Men. Grayson Pierce, top agent in the Department of Defense's covert Sigma Force, takes a team to Rome, joins up with love-interest Rachel Verona, a carabinieri corps lieutenant, and her Vatican official uncle, Vigot. It seems that the Dragon Court, a medieval alchemical cult-cell that still operates within the Catholic Church, is to blame, and it also seems that the bones of the Magi aren't really bones, but the highly reactive Monatomic gold that the group plans to use to accomplish its ultimate goal—Armegeddon.

104 - Lover Avenged (BBD #7) - J.R. Ward

Rehvenge, a symphath vampire who gets energy from manipulating others' emotions, is recruited by a group who want to displace vampire king Wrath, a gruff, determined vigilante. Rehvenge is also falling hard for vampire nurse Ehlena, who disdains his affections and focuses on caring for her ailing father.
