The trip yesterday made us wanting to go there today too. So this morning we packed our backpacks and went up again. Our lean-to is just a five minutes walk from the house, so it's a great place to just pop a hike to :)

Today we made a bonfire and made dinner. We cut vegetables and sausages and put them in tinfoile at home. Put the packages on the coal, and the food almost looks after it self ;) You can use fish, chicken and so on

Pinnebrød
5oo g hvetemal

2 tsj bakepulver
1 dl olje
2 dl vann

Bread on a stick
5oo g wheat flour
2 teaspoon of baking soda
1 dl oil
2 dl water

Mix to a dough and place in a box/bag. Roll out to a sausage and twin it around the stick. Ours got a little to much baked ... If you wish you can mix sugar and cinnamon in a bag, ave a little water on the bread and dip it in the mixture - cinnamon roll :)

On the way home we looked for blueberries, but we couldent find any... But there was lots of crowberries, and it was big. Maybe we pick some and make "saft" (Boil with water and sugar, the syrup you get mixed with water=saft)

  1. Hege,

I love your new blog! The pictures are wonderful and the descriptions of your hikes with the children take me back to when my boys were small. How nice that you are sharing this with us! Keep showing us picture of beautiful Norway.
