Vafler i skogen / Waffles in the forest

Today we packed our waffel iron with us when we went hiking. So after dinner we started to fry some waffles :) After some testing we found out that it was best to fry them over strong heat, as in a lot of flames ;) The waffle mixture had we made home and poured it on a bottle, easy to use.

And there's no doubt that they tasted good :)

I skogen fant we mye tegebær også.

We found a lot of stone bramble berries in the forest.

The little man got tired on the way home - you get worn out after a whole day in the forest :)

The gras is high on the bog we have to cross to get up in the forest. No at fall it smells so good to go across the bog, I think it must be the est "nature" smell I know of :)

  1. So cool! The waffles look delicious. We're heading out hiking today, but it won't be nearly as cold...still summer heat here this weekend! argh. :)

  2. Thank you so much for sharing how beautiful Norway is! I just found this blog from your knitting one that I often read. My grandfather was from Oslo and he never really talked about it, though he alway said, "Goodbye, I love you" to me in Norwegian. I have always wanted to go there and I think about it all the time.
